According to N4G users(not my opinion), the PS3 had no issue with:
1.price, because you got wireless, free blueray player etc...etc....+ kitchen sink.
2.Developer friendliness, because developers just need 2 Learn How 2 Program.
Im amazed that you didn't get disgreed all the way into 2012, but i guess your wall of text masked those anti PS3 statements.

on a more serious note the game does look good, but im not willing to throw away years of hard learned lessons:
Just because something looks good, dosn't mean it is good.
I will definetely be looking at reviews right before the release of this game. Hopefully this will be a great game.
Skyrim is digital crack and i have been trying to overdose so i can move on. No luck though.
I have to agree, after having watched the trailer, i felt that i just watched 90% of the gameplay. Great cutscenes though.
I have to admit PS3 beats xbox in most things except multiplayer, and unfortunately thats where most of my focus is.

it's debatable what is better, but one of the few + sides of xbl is that a$$holes have to go through more hassle to come back.

Wish i could say the same. My gf likes to play games with me, so i spend most of my money on games we can play together. She wont be too happy if i spend 50$ on a game just for me, so it's bargain bin for me.
My money is on it being like uncharted. Theres ALOT of extra work trying to build suspense in open world scenarios.
In games like UC(Not open world), you have alot of chokepoints where you know the player will pass soner or later. This allows for triggering all kinds of scary effects at these chokepoints.
From a business point of view, open world in this game, makes no sense
cmon you fanboy, UC3 game of the year? 12 hours and it's done you could start over, but you can start over in any game. Im 200 hours into skyrim, still hooked, and im not even 30% done.
you have to hold up those bug/glitches against what the game achieves, few games dare to have such and open and rich world like skyrim.
Im a big RPG fan, and have long been waiting for something to beat baldurs gate 2, and i think it's here.
