I agree. Games should not be based on the number some 'gamer' gives it after he played it for a few minutes at his office. Getting a hold of the game itself, trying a demo or getting real gamer's opinions is how we should rate and see our games.
I also like pre-ordering games. If it isn't for additional content, it is the satisfaction of knowing I will have a copy of the game come release. I remember as a kid having to wait for some games I liked due to demand meaning the store sold out - I rather avoid it now.
Excellent review. It is said in a understandable pace and tone and that made watching it actually interesting. Might just check out getting an iPhone for myself.
Rather than protest against it, we should welcome the element of platforming moulding different games in other genres. Titles nowadays can just be one thing - add some exploration, some driving, some shooting and some collecting - for those games in which it is appropriate - it can mean great things.
Interesting stuff there. I haven't kept up with all the pre-release information surrounding the game so its great to be able to read about some of the lengths the developers went to. Well done!
