All I know is that Lazarevic is probably the funniest name for a villain I've heard in a long time. They're going to have to do something special to top that one.

I don't even know if Lost Odyssey is "sequel-able", but Lost Odyssey 2 would certainly make me raise my eyebrows and consider getting a 360 more than I already am.
I'm still waiting for my copy to get to my place. I have pretty decent expectations for it, it should be cool to play a game with all new Pokemon. At first I thought it was kind of lame to totally ditch all the old ones, but really I think it'll add a cool spin to the game if you're a veteran. Like when you get a new Pokemon, when it evolves you'll get that "oh shit!!" feeling all over again, instead of just trying to get Charizard and Blastoise the entire time.

You might be let down. There will probably be minimal DLC characters for MvC3 (no more than 6, if that), and likely no secondary release. No VS game has had a second release yet (not counting localizations), can't see this one being any different. The SF team isn't behind the VS series either.
I'm not 'scared' because I could give a rat's ass how the game turns out. If NT is willing to completely butcher Dante's (fan liked) character design, for no other reason than some bullshit attempt at being "edgy" or whatever, then I seriously doubt they give two shits about following the DMC combat/gameplay formula.
Expect a QTE and bug ridden game that's medicore at best.
