It doesn't hurt for Sony to congratulate their competition. But, at the end of the day; Sony didn't ask to be congratulated.
I remember laughing at Major Nelson when he swore to us that Microsoft couldn't reverse the DRM on XBOne then the next day they reversed the DRM policies.
Europe will most definitely sell more than 1mill, it's Sony's strongest region. Really hoping the failure rate stays away from EU though, don't want to get my console to have to send it off again, that would kill me.
I always stood my PS1 up on its side too. Solely because it always had issues reading discs and shoving it on its side dropped the lens closer to the disc and it seemed to read it properly. lol good ol' ps1

The same could be said for all consoles at the beginning of their life cycle. They aren't going to release with a huge variety of games now, are they?

I guess the reason people wanted to call it Xbox 720 prior to the Xbox One reveal was due to the fact all their games run in 720p not because of 2 full "360"........ yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

I would be going nuts if my console got banned hours before launch. Microsoft sucks for doing this, why should the customer pay the price for retailers messing up.
