I don't think the PS3 needs a new gen yet, but the 360 is kinda grasping at straws atm. They're trying to squeeze every little bit of disc space out of the dvd as they can... their tech is, from the looks of it, going to be the worst of the 3 soon..

This could be taken in a good way. It could just be a test to see if their newer security is good.
Because we don't want assholes to steal our details again? there's no point creating the same PSN with the same level of security. Why wouldn't people defend the downtime? come on, surely you people have more things to do other than sit on your ass and play video games online?
