I'm really glad the title was misleading. This game is fantastic, and deserves to sell very well!
This makes me sad. Just really, really sad. The team over at Gearbox made an excellent product, only to have this jackass use some of the comparisons and tropes that in NO WAY reflect their audience, and are the result of this lazy and ignorant fuck.

@_Aarix_ Yes, because CoD is REALLY the problem. As someone who actually LIKES CoD, the games ARE fun. You might not think so, but that's ok. The point is, maybe CoD is mainstream BECAUSE it's a good game.

Alright, I was mistaken. I knew it was 2011, but I thought it released too late into 2011 to be in the running for the GotYs. Should have done my research.
@Army_of_Darkness They aren't going to achieve that without new hardware. The current gen's hardware is HORRIBLY outdated, and, frankly, I don't see how it runs as well as it does. We NEED more RAM and better video cards with more VRAM to achieve your 60fps at 1080p.
Next Gen in reference to consoles isn't as much about graphics and other capabilities, as it is new hardware with more power.
I'm with fermcr. These may have been the best games that you've PLAYED, but far from the best games of 2012.
Skyrim? Spec Ops: The Line? There are many more, but so many great games not on that list.

There were a couple of terrible games on that list. A few good ones too, but a couple of terrible ones.
ATI Radeon HD 6950.
The 6950 and the 6970 have the same hardware, but are BIOS locked. There are instructions out there to flash the 6970 bios onto a 6950 (it's easy, I've done it a couple of times). This will save you a bit of money, and is a HELL of a card.
I run Skyrim on max detail, 1920x1080 resolution, graphics enhancement mods, and still keep great frame rate.

This isn't "I want $50,000 for DLC"...He isn't forcing ANYONE to buy it, nor is he adding anything that can't be accomplished without it. This is strictly a social experiment into a "what-if" question.

That seems to be the most likely of the responses. Although, if you're already going for 6; what's to stop them from just putting in a full dual-channel 8GB kit?
