Injustice 2 was 2017, so no, it wouldn't have been that. This was in September of 2018 from what I recall. I just found it curious when he said "I think it's been announced?". Still, it could be nothing, maybe a DC card game, who knows. lol.
I don't know exactly what he was talking about, but last year I had the chance to meet Kevin Conroy at an event and asked when he would be voicing batman again, and he said "I just recorded for a new game, I think it was announced? I'm not sure, but look forward to that." and yet, nothing has been announced that I know of.
No worries man, I just preferred the second game more. If you preferred the first one, then that is perfectly fine and not a wrong answer at all. We each like different things about different games.
Glad you enjoy it!
I think people that want to "go in blind" will mostly ignore reviews as there is almost always some sort of discussion about certain aspects that people can claim as spoilers. So it's a fine line to walk and you are always going to find people that claim one or the other. So I tried to be as vague as I could. I had someone mention something about my Ys VIII review (via an email) that I spoiled something fairly big and then told him to check out the back of the game case as it cl...
The 3D effect is really solid. I hardly see anyone talking about this tech as they don't really make too many 3D tv's anymore. At least in the numbers they used to. The last game to really wow me with its 3D was Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, mainly at the location later in the game that features an outdoor winter area. (which I might add is the same type of environment here that has the best use of 3D) It was fantastic. I'll pop the 3D on for a few games, but I usually don't remem...
I didn't notice this on my tv 55" LG 4K HDR vs a Sony 4K HDR 55" as I ran the two versions side by side. I'll definitely update my review to reflect this info. I may have had my settings on the LG in a way where I didn't notice this HDR issue. I did find that Xbox One version had better aliasing and some of the texture quality was a bit sharper due to the resolution boost.
I found it to drop frames almost as often as the Pro, but I'm sure it is simply down to the fact that the game wasn't optimized well enough. Still, it didn't happen too often for me to not enjoy it.
Amazing Soundtrack. That and Ruiner may have my favorite soundtracks of all time. Games or otherwise.
I know it can seem like a big time sink, but the third playthrough is where the game really gripped me. I mean, I did enjoy the first 20+ hours going into the game, but it gets incredible during that last time through the game. Just be prepared for the pacing to take a nose dive after the content you played during the demo. It does pick up, but those moments after the demo content can feel very slow moving. Still, great game tho.
Since he will be a part (and of course, we don't know how substantial) of Life is Strange 2, I'm not sure they will release something stand alone for him. Again, just speculation. Would be cool tho, but again, his story in LIS2 may be enough.
Oh, make no mistake about it, I didn't hate it at all. It is a very good game, I just didn't enjoy it as much as many other people did. The 6th island definitely has some trouble spots, but it is also one of the better islands. Glad you are enjoying the game. I'm always glad to see people liking games, even if I do not.
The game looks really fun, shame it's nearly $40 tho.. I'd jump at it for $20 for sure. Great review, also, love the site design!
I definitely disagree about balance, but that's just me. It's perfectly fine you enjoy the game, even love it. That's cool. A lot of people forget we can have discussions about games and have very different opinions about them. If we all felt the same way about games then the industry would be far worse off than it is.
Glad you are enjoying the game. I really wanted to like it more than I did. I do agree with my sites and people that want an 8 from this game, but the controls just were not as precise as I think they could have been. I couldn't get into the trial and error aspects of the game, no matter that I consistenly had 99 lives at the ready. Still, I am glad to see when people enjoy a game, that's awesome. I just couldn't enjoy it as much.
There are certainly parts that are a cake walk, it was the slow reaction movements to the swimming and barrel sections that really didn't sit right with me. The trial and error aspects of the game also felt cheap and didn't offer up a good experience for me. I'm glad you are enjoying the game tho, I just couldn't get into it as much as I wanted since the game is visually amazing and has some stellar design qualties. Difficulty is also something that is hard to review since eve...
My site doesn't feature ads or generate revenue, click's don't get me anything. Glad you are enjoying the game tho.
Feel free to enjoy the game more than I did, that is perfectly fine.
Reviewing games isn't my job. :) But glad you are enjoying the game.
The hype is mostly based around Obsidian returning to the Fallout formula, and given how Fallout New Vegas was received by the public, the hype was going to be fairly big. But, if you didn't care for it, that's cool as well. Tons of game's out this year to keep your interest.
