Beating the last level on KZ2 on the harder difficulty settings can be crazy. My biggest problem are when the soldiers with the missile launchers come out, and they start firing away. I usually just snipe them to keep my distance as well as to take them out ASAP. But it's difficult when the enemy soldiers are firing at you at the same time. And Rico? He is either giving you minimal "help", or has been gunned down and calling for medical attention. I swear there are times where...
... that make electronic products, computers, and anything else that improves over time but become cheaper. This isn't something Sony does on purpose, it's the way it goes when it comes to technology related products. Didn't you read Pandamobile's reply regarding his graphics card? Look at the iPod. When it first came out it held 5GB and cost $400. Today that $400 buys you an ipod that has a touch screen, holds 32 GB of data, built in speaker, allows you to watch TV shows and movies, and...
... Halo helped to make the FPS more mainstream in the console market, although there were other games before it (Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, etc). And yes, "How Halo Changed *Console* Gaming" probably would have been a more appropriate title. The current title makes it sound like it had an influence on computer gaming.
But I have to strongly disagree with the article on two specific points: Realistic/Balanced Weapons and Grenades. In the times I have played Halo, ther...
I think the rear speakers on surround sound systems always pose a challenge when it comes to placement. I have the Logitech Z-560 4.1 system myself, and have the rears placed on my ironing board behind my chair. I always have to be careful about pushing my chair too far back after I finish using my computer. :)
... definitely agree that including America's Army = Fail. I used to play that game quite a bit. Was looking forward to getting back into it with the release of version 3.0, but a bunch of players told me not to bother since it was really buggy.
Yeah, after visiting the support section of the America's Army forum, I am definitely not installing it.
I bet there are a few journalists out there scratching their heads given the recent claims Patcher has made.
I wonder what his next bold prediction will be.
I could have sworn that around the time the current consoles came out, journalists asked Nintendo why they didn't have HD on the Wii. Nintendo claimed it was not necessary, that it helped reduce the price for the Wii, and that's why the Wii is what it is today, graphic-wise. Now they're going to come out with a WiiHD? (Forgive my ignorance if this is old news)
People will still have reasons to purchase an Xbox 360 or PS3 over a Nintendo WiiHD
A) Xbox 360 - Exclusive titl...
First of all, let me just state that I am a PS3 owner. I do not own an Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii, but I have enjoyed playing on both consoles with my friends who do own them.
Remember back at E3 2006 when Sony first announced the prices for the PS3? $600 for the 60 gig model with all the bells 'n' whistles, and $500 for the 20 gig base one. Everybody's jaws dropped, because A) That was the most expensive price announced for a major game console (I don't recall the first Xbox, S...
Slightly disappointed. I don't remember Willow Springs looking like what they show in the NFS SHIFT teaser video. In real life, there's hardly any buildings.

I'm interested to see what the reviews (gaming sites and game owners) will be like when SHIFT is finally released. I don't really care about tuning/upgrading cars, or adding body kits to them. The earlier Nee...
