Neonrdr, no the PS4 is not using DDR5 memory, but GDDR5 memory, its much better for the GPU.
The Xbone uses DDR3 memory thats better for the CPU, and thats not the best for games.
Developers are makes games these days that are more GPU centered.

No way microsoft will build an new xbone with a better GPU on board. They would split the userbase. One part could play the games that where made for the new GPU, other Xbone gamers could not, they dont have that GPU.
