I know BF3 and BF4 sound better than any COD game, because I play both, but I don't find COD sounding bad at all...Some weapons are actually quite impressive, especially in Black Ops 2. They really improved the sound quality there. Echos from distant snipers sound pretty damn good to me.

That's true, however even the youtube 30fps cap doesn't destroy the smoothness that 60fps provides for the game.
