Good that they are coming to their senses. SFV suffered from a lack of content and this in turn lead to a negative word of mouth sales
People will always talk about sales. This started way back and was quite prominent in the 360 and ps3 era (when 360 initially was outselling the ps3). So there's literally no point in asking the same question again and again on every sales article.
Yet it'll end up selling millions of units and end up being the highest selling game of 2016. Activision was smart to lock the remaster that a ton of people are excited about behind the main game as it may act as a catalyst for even more sales. Heck even I'm planning to preorder Call of Duty this year (the first I've ever done).
"Basically we are getting next gen early" Judging by the rumored ps4 neo specs, I would say no. Also I don't think the xbox 1.5 will turn out to be all the more different than ps4 neo (maybe It could end up being a little more powerful than ps4 neo like how the ps4 is over the xbox1)
Actually it makes a bloody whole lot of sense from a business standpoint. More people will preorder the expensive edition to get the game. Otherwise a lot could be interested only in the remaster and not bother with the new one.
They themselves won't need to do it. They can give it to devs like bluepoint (excellent devs for ports and remasters)
This goes for jrpgs in general. If you love jrpgs then there's no reason to not get a PlayStation console/handheld.
I don't think that it's surprising. I mean when Japan starts a trend, it'll hold onto it for a long time and the recent trend here is yokai watch.
Would've been much better on the vita
The Patcher has spoken! Now these two games will go on to sell millions of units!
Imo mgsV was a flawed masterpiece. The ideas were there but the execution wasn't upto the standard a mgs fan expects from the series (no I'm not talking about the gameplay since the gameplay is and the mechanics are freaking amazing).
Damn this is disappointing :(. While DC had a shaky launch it's currently one of the best racers in the market with a ton of content (not to mention a cheap season pass which adds more to it).

You're right about games getting delayed all the time.
You're right about the fact that PD isn't cancelled (It's in a dormant stage for now).
You're right about the fact that we need to wait and see carckdown 3 before we judge it.
However you're wrong about MS's plan for xbox and that fact that losing exclusives is a good thing.

@AngelicIceDiamond
I'll agree with you that games getting delayed aren't that big of a deal since It's kind of like the norm for games to get delayed nowadays. As a matter of fact I can't remember a single recent AAA game that didn't get delayed.
However I have to disagree with you here,
""Most former exclusives heading to PC."
That MS PLANNED all along not bad news."

@Rookie_Monster
While it's great to be a fan of a particular console, you're certainly NOT neutral nor just a fan. You're one of those fanboys who'll try and sneak a jab or two almost every single time on every article whether it's related or not.
You're kind of like another user here who used to pretend that he cared for all consoles but was a xbox fanboy in disguise (he had a breakdown last e3 were he revealed his true colors and I guess he w...
While it's actually pretty amazing that many people will be able to experience this game, exclusives are what defines a console so it's expected that fanboys would be sad.

"...Nintendo games on the go, Nintendo games on the TV, 3rd party games on the go..."
This is what I'm hoping for. I love portable gaming so if nintendo can pull this off then it'll be awesome! Plus it may also end up doing way better in Japan than the wii u since they prefer portable gaming over console gaming.
If the NX turns out to be something like the one shown in the photo (as in I want a portable console) then I'm buying it day one.
Won't it cause a paradox?
