Forza 5 was the testing grounds for DX12 so Forza 6 will probably be the crown jewel of the first wave of titles that support it. I expect it to probably set a completely new benchmark for sim racing games and probably games in general.
Take the current Xbox One processing speed and add half of another Xbox One's speed on top of it. Well, not quite half, but you get the idea. PC improvements are 330%+, but since Xbox One is already half way DX12 anyway, you get about a 40% increase, or 12% of the percentage of PC improvements. Still massive changes though and will definitely improve over time as it is further improved, as these are just v. 1.0 changes.
30%-40%? Jesus, Forza 6 is going to destroy worlds.
Now if only Google didn't take all its apps off the windows store, then we'd be golden.
I'm sorry about this but my OCD is acting up, you do realize spaces go after periods, right? Again, sorry.
I do hope that Forza 6 looks close to what 5 initially was, if not better, since they're using the new ForzaTech engine.
I can't wait!
I honesty can't wait for that Forza 6 footage with their new ForzaTech engine. They've shown absolutely nothing whatsoever of the game. Not even a screenshot. Between that and Sony potentially revealing Gran Turismo 7 (fingers crossed) I'm pumped as a racing fan.
So they're silent because they have no proof that it will make an improvement. As it says in the article, they can't even make a comparison because DX12 isn't even running on Xbox One as of yet.
Please be Pro Skater 5.
For it to be a price war, wouldn't the PS4 have to be dropping the price as well? I don't understand. This is just Microsoft repeatedly dropping the price to be more competitive.
In my opinion, for $500 originally, Microsoft should've went with a different setup, Possibly a GDDR5/DDR3 combination instead of ESRAM.
Very impressive for Sony.
Very impressive. Definitely worth a rent from Gamefly for me when it comes out.
For anyone wondering, 12K is 3 4K screens. It's the triple-screen setup.
But I suppose they could do the other thing, although they'd have to fully rebuild the older tracks. I'm all up for it though.
I really liked Forza 2. I would love a remake. It's just different from the other games in the series. The soundtrack, the cars, everything.
Xbox had a video for Forza 4 on their YouTube account uploaded today. Possibly hinting at a Forza Anniversary Collection for Xbox One? I'd play that. I would love to play Forza 2 again with updated graphics.
I replayed it too, it actually had multiple endings if you didn't already know.
I hate people using numbers in their names, like the days when people did stuff like xXG0dSl4y3r69Xx.
