We want variety, not every open world to have the same formula. All Ubi games have the same formula: Go to tower, unlock area, collect stuff, do repetitive side missons, story about revenge, and lots of stupid chest. Even The Crew, which is a racing game, had the same thing.
Seriously? Is this what gamers want?
Looks beautiful. I'm buying it!
Since I moved to the United States, my social life hasn't been the same. I still go to parties and hang with some friends, but not really as often as before. Video games help me in my lonely times. I don't like it, but I can't help it either :/. I spend between 5 to 8 hrs a day. Sometimes I feel like I play way too much when I feel alone. It's not like I live in that virtual world. For now, I'm focused in my Radiology Program, and maybe everything will change once I gradua...
Didn't you play DC Universe on PS2? Man that game was amazing.
Lol that guy above. Who knew SOE even existed in the PS2 era?Never heard of them, honestly
Many 1st party devs make tons of money, even more than they spent making games for one console. You think Naughty Dog and sony didn't get more than the money they've spent with every game? Let's put From Soft with BB, for instance. You just have to multiply $60 dollars by the sales, which in its first week surpassed a million if I'm not mistaken.
If it's a week before launch, then tomorrow is the day for the review
Looking down at the gamepad every time is really distracting
Don't forget about Ouya
Looks so good and smooth on PS4. Thank god!
Agree. They got way too cocky about this game, and it turned out to be a GTA clone with square button prompts
Too much dog in this comment
The article is about "More content for the game," not "More games like TLOU."
This industry need variety, not games being alike.
Now finally on topic: More is never a bad thing thing. I think ND has set a good post apocalyptic world where many stories can be told. I'd like a DLC featuring Ish and his partner. And a sequel featuring Ellie all grown up or any new characters
Another Cocky Doody Reskin by EA with less content than the previous game.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
PC gamers aren't as stupid as console gamers. The reason barebones shooters like the unnecessary Hardline and the boredom Destiny sell on consoles is because of the desperation for games
Everything has been pretty much done by now. I think gaming has reached its peak. We know depend of software for innovation. Sure Morpheus, Oculus, and Hololens look like a next step, but me personally I prefer to play games the traditional way: with a controller. As for games, well, Indies seem to be the only ones that are innovative.
I don't consider MS's TV integration ''innovative.'' ;. DRM and All in One system aren't the reason I buy gaming con...
Sometimes the devs themselves and then say it was a leak, at least that's what I always think
Maan too many PlayStation classics I want to return. Imagine if, along with this, Sony announces they brought Crash back. E3 will explode.
Every company has gone trough a period of arrogance and dark aura. Nintendo and Microsoft are leaning their lesson now, while Sony turned things around with the PS4 and did the opposite of everything wrong they did with PS3.
With PS4, they went back to what made them dominate in the past: Games, raw power, and consumer and developer friendly console. Even if the PS4 is, supposedly, a mid-range PC, it's still a capable console of delivering good gaming and breathtaking exp...
When your idea of a new gameplay mechanic in a series is enabling people to grapple up buildings, when said series is basically built on the idea of climbing buildings and navigating them from the rooftops, maybe its time to take the series out back and put one between the eyes.
