As opposed to what? Is that really a valid thing to say to bring this game down? Because I can tell you, no game nowadays have been anything special either. This game is amazing: story, characters, gameplay, and the unique multiplayer. If anything, the multiplayer can be considered special.
Also movies tend to sell lots of tickets despite its reception because the ticket are way cheaper than games, and people don't really mind ...
Because some of them are cool and it takes work for them.

I think he has the wrong Idea about Spiderman. The comics have been in decline for a decade already and the movies have been mixed in reception. So if Halo is gonna last as long as spiderman, then I can see where it is heading...

This series peaked at 2. That's why U3 didn't depart much from it. This entry seems to add lots of stuff, but every series needs an end.

Maybe it Backwards Compatibility with PS1 and PS2 games? That's be great to have them all digital like PS Vita has PS1 and PSP games. If PS4 is unable to emulate PS3 games because of the cell architecture, Fine! But, emulating PS1 and PS2 games wouldn't be that bad on a much advance hardware.

No. Ellie and Joel's story has been concluded in a very good way.
Joel and Ellie made it to Jackson. There Joel marries some woman according to the secret ending they showed at pax last year. And now he has more reasons to live in that hopeless world. As for Ellie, she will manage to live along with Joel and other survivors.
