That is because none of those games had any depth or were competitive. There's more progression on Overwatch and reason to stick to it than those games. That is why you don't see much people complaining about SP. Why would they when they are too busy still squeezing hrs of gameplay in MP?

The lack of campaign in Overtwach is excusable because the Multiplayer has actual depth and competitive nature. That is what keeps people playing it everyday qnd makes it fun

U4 is amazing, but I feel more invested in Overtwach due to its competitive nature qnd depth. And that makes the game even more replayable than U4.
Many here think of Overwatch as some average MP, casual, F2P game, but actually the game nothing like that. The game may lack a campaign, but there's still lots of narrative within the game.
