I've been to novigrad and skellige. I have the ursine gear. The only bugs I've encounter is my flying horse and the odd unkillable siren in one area.

Oddly enough the DLC is what made me and the clan pretty much stop playing. We got to 34 day one. Got to Mercury in trials. But can't complete skolas myself because I don't have gjally, black hammer, icebreaker etc. So I literally stopped playing because ik not going to grind for an RNG anymore. Just feels like a waste of time.
I mean it's somewhat of an effort but still. More recycled levels. The new guns are not that great compared to the old ones. Etc.

If you read about geralt most of his opponents can't actually keep up with his movement. The way he moves is unique to him and throws off combatants. That's one of the reasons he's so flippy. He's quick and light on his feet. If he hasn't been stabbed with his style yet and he's bested nearly every opponent why would he stop? You have to remember, he's not human. He won't fight like one.

The armor is grounded in realism. Sorry to say but Diablo armor is not practical at all.
It's only one hour if you rush through JUST the story segment. I have over 6 hours and am still only at 36%.
It's mostly patience. Heavy and light attacks. Strike when the enemy is exposed and use magic to help sway the tides.
Example. Pack of drowners swarm. Use igni to ignite them and dodge back. Harass one with the cross bow to get him to single himself out then lob off his head.
