I don't get wy people are disagreeing with you. What you said is true....
No they don't cost much and costs do go down once mass production kicks in HOWEVER it is still costly. Especially considering the consoles most likely have been in development for Atleast 1-2 years now. They take a few years to make and perfect so chances of a 680 are unlikely. I'm not saying the consoles will suck but the promises Sony made about the ps3 were flat out lies, especially killzone 2 original demo at 1080p.

How was ng3 westernized? It was the same as previous just minus MANY features and major repetition. Also the story was much more anime than the previous 2.
The souls series is very western however. It shares many elements from modern western RPGs. I'm not saying its not a jrpg because it is but it's very western influenced while being able to maintain world wide interest even in Japan.
To this day the souls series remains my fav rpg series.
I hate copyright laws. I work in the film industry and by god it's a pain. Almost everything has copyright. Either ask permission and they charge you or don't and they sue you.

in general girls don't play these types of games as much as men. Plain and simple. My gf doesn't touch shooters but loves RPGs.

Yea but uve been playing bf3 for nearly a year now.
It's a great engine no doubt but the demo was running on a GTX 680 which is an expensive video card. So chances are the next gen consoles wont look this good unless they cost about $1000

Many people on this site find spending over 1k for a pc is rediculous. So what makes a tv any different? There's no 4k movies right now, consoles with 4k resolution games are still years away unless they look like crap and run like crap ($600 console running 4k? Not happenning next gen) TOP of the line pcs don't do 4k right now that I've heard of.
4k tvs are not worth it because nothing supports 4k. So your spending 11k ...
Games wont be 4k.
