The money thing is a lie. It's roughly the same as console gaming. You can get new releases for nearly half the price of console counter parts if you know where to look.
After I beat the demo I instantly hot square to purchase the full game. It's only $19.99.
It's almost as if people aren't playing the full game. Yes the initial asking price was bad but it dropped $10 within a week of its release.
People seem to play ONE mission and say "well. That was it". There's 5. Each one completely different. Each one can take up to an hour to beat the first time unless you go in on normal guns blazing. The speed runs are by people who know exactly where absolutely every thing and everyone is.

I never said being linear was good but the examples were bad. I know many people who stopped with Yahtzee a while ago due to him literally hating nearly everything. It was funny at first but now it's just nonsense.
He's really lost his touch. His complaints now are just petty and ridiculous. I may not like ryse but one of his arguments was not being able to go anywhere he wanted past fences that were clearly put in to narrow the player to go the right way.
His infamous "review" was just dumb.

While it's good, it's not a masterpiece. It doesn't reinvent the wheel. It's fun. And xbox ones cloud? You are aware the PC and 360 version also use the azure cloud right? It's not an xbox one only feature. I have it on my PC and haven't played it much since launch. Got to gen 2 then put it down.
