It has nothing to do with in needing to be 1080p. They already stated they're aiming for parity when they don't HAVE to. It's literally the X1 hiding it back and UBISOFT said it themselves

If you go by ONE site you have issues. The game is sitting at 80 on official metacritic. That means it's great.

I had 3 captains attack me. I got screwed. Plus the hoard. I couldn't run. One of my nemesis is a spearman. He hit me just as a vaulted over the LAST Orc in the way!

It definitely seems like it will satisfy fans of the franchise. Why they decided to add guns...beyond me. You get a shotgun...you'd think it would be effective against an alien. Where's the logic? Keep guns out! But oh well I'm buying it for the xeno action

The AA method is down sampling. It will kill performance but it always looks much much nicer.

I got it for pc. It's fantastic. The best parts of Arkham and assassins creed blended intO LOTR. start slaughtering Uruk hai as much as you can ;)
It's about being smart. The deaths are just emphasizing that. There's tons of footage where people don't die.
