GameDev - i think the admins aren't interested in the fanboy wars, they don't check really if someone with multiple accounts is giving himself and other fanboys bubbles.
the fights look just way too chaotic, it's a pity they didn't use turnbase combat :(

what about people, that have friends in other regions? they just can't be invited? that's just wrong...

yeah i don't care much about FarCry either, personally i think only the first game was good, the others were just datadiscs... i am visiting N4G often a i too think, that they should work on the rules here, i don't wanna read made up fake/rumor stories, which are now taking like 50% of all the stories.

because Halo 3 looked sooooo AAA :D graphics old gen and so many "innovative" features, that were all used before in older PC games :p
so how long have you been working as a game developer? or was it all just theory in your comment? i have now 4 years behind me in the gaming industry, i haven't yet worked with the Trophy system, but i know how much time do progs/graphic artists need for certain tasks thx to my experience. So please if you aren't a dev, just don't make any super clever comments, that like vickers500 wrote - "trying to justify the developers laziness". thx

Edit: yeah i feel ya, i also wrote a couple of times, that the implementing of trophies can't take longer than one week for the devs... but you have to agree, that it is also Sonys fault, because they aren't pushing/forcing the devs to implement them.
but i guess the PS3 version will have better physics thx to the SPUs (if they used them properly...)

ok so i was wrong then... lets call the MythBusters on this one!!! :D my other guess: you had a little alien (from the movies) living in the xbox who ejaculated on the DVDs sometimes just for the fun, and therefor the bubbles-acid. :)
was it hot that day? because my guess what happened: the disc just stuck between the tray and the drive touching the top/bottom metal casing, which was hot (thx to the overheating of the xbox) and therefor the disc had bubbles on it. But the freezing was just the classic RROD overheating.
noooo waaaay! :D now that's a completely new story i never heard of till now, it's like an original sin :) will tell it to my friends, they will laugh their xxx off.
btw. don't you have some photos from the incident?
Edit: one more thing - how can a DVD fall through the drive into the xbox??? it would have to melt the DVD drive from the inside to make a hole in it... and i saw the innards of the xbox, there is a solid metal normal DVD drive.
