finished Rage today (PC version with ultra settings config) and even on the ultra setting the game didn't look that great (the textures up close are horrible...) , so that pretty much sums up the programming skills of mr. John Carmack :D
i waited for these Bulldozers, but this week i bought my new gaming rig with the i7 2600k and it seems, that it was a wise choice, cause the new Bulldozers aren't so great after all...
lol they should at least wait till Minecraft gets out of the beta stage and then make ports...
well the temperature is normal, but depends on the graphic card... the newest have like 80-90C when playing games :)
it's nice to have the textures on the HDD, but if the RAM is so small they just can't fit there can they...
man i hope the heli crash will look normal in the final retail version and not like here, where it looks like a toy without any weight just lands on the ground without any extra explosion, impact etc. ...

ah those were the days, when BF2 had just bot fights as the singleplayer :) and it was enough, cause BF is in many eyes a multiplayer only game :p
because the world is going to $hit, just watch the latest south park episode and you understand :)
i will also rather wait for the final version, it's just 3 more weeks away, i think i will survive that :) (btw i'm on my 31st rank in the PS3 beta)

yep, although i'm buying a new gaming rig for this game i think they will polish the game for at least next 3 months through patches... but only a month away from the release it won't look much different like from the beta since there has to be also time to press the discs like circa 2 weeks, so really only 2 weeks for fixing so many bugs will be a big problem...
so you played the game without sound?... i was almost always first in the beta, because i listened to the gun sounds around me (5.1 sound is recommended) and i always used the silencer :p
