very nice comment describing the exact problems XBL has. After i bought the xbox360 i played Gears a lot with my 3 free trial Gold accounts, and i saw, that you had almost no chance killing the player/server, when you were both equipped with shotguns, cause the lag was so obvious :( therefor i used only the trial Gold accounts, and that was an end to the oh so great online service , that on PC and everywhere else is free...
the problem is, that the casual gamers don't care about the reviews, they just go into the shop to buy some game for their new gimmick(wii)...
i can't wait to get Ratchet TOD in my hands, but we in EU will get it 2 weeks later :( damn damn damn
i will buy the PC version - free online play, probably dedicated servers too, extra content and free downloadable map packs (like people are used to on PCs...)
Edit: btw i finished the game 3 times on my xbox360, one time in coop mode when i made use of the 3 free trial Gold accounts :D
that's the only reason i'm not playing xbox360 games online, its not a money problem, i just don't understand why i should pay for online gaming, when on every other system its free...

i played the demo too, yeah the gameplay was somekind meh but i will get this game just because of the great music and story/cutscenes :)
wow i will take AC6 + Jericho on Xbox360, Eye of Judgment + Ratchet for PS3 and again none for my Wii aka paperweight :)

Edit: gamesR4fun yeah it is fun, but it could be even more fun with the patch :) i am a hardcore Battlefield player, so every new thing they add to Warhawk will keep me from playing Battlefield :)
