While LoL got the most played PC game of 2013, Dota 2 got the award for fastest growing game of 2013, and its only going to get bigger.
Except its not. its more powerful than a 360 and ps3 ad thats already been proven many times, only ignorant people will say otherwise. the graphics that nintendo accomplishes on their first party games are astonishing and at 60 fps something 360 and ps3 would not be able to do at all.
deal with it. nobody is forcing you to buy anything. what you dont like others may like, so stick to your 60 dollar games if you want, fact is a lot of these early access games are better optimized than most triple a games and even better.
banished is better than simcity, day z is better than any zombie game out there. assetto corsa is better than gran turismo. fact? no. see what i did there?

Some people call early access a waste and bad for the industry, i love it. bought 5 games in early access. so what you think may not be what others think. there is 70 million subs after all on steam.
Plus, half of these "shoverlware" items are better than most triple A 60 dollar games. like assetto corsa, or day z.

well, pc gaming is better than ever and more options never hurts anybody. in fact, most of my friends who game on pc are in that "small" 2 million of linux users and they couldnt be happier. in FACT, they emulate PC trhough linux, not the other way around.

am sorry, how was the story solid? anything that does story telling with time curtains and a narrator is just pure lazyness. character development was good? you cant be serious dude, how on earth was it good? nobody cared about any of the characters except for the cameo ones.

da2 writing was so mundane, with amazing dialogue choices such as hell yeah! heck no!! and POUTY sarcastic face! amazing writing, so good, it blew my mind off at how amazing it was, yet it was such a horrible game in every way shape or form, i cannot see how they can even be proud to say da3 is going to be similar to crap mountain.
its overrated as hell, the only reason ppl speak the way they do about it is because it was the first of its kind at its moment, the first 3d final fantasy game.

see, while i agree on your opionion about xbone vs ps4 fidelty, i disagree on the one about the game. played the pc beta today, and the game is not mediocre at all, in fact, its utterly brilliant. level design is genius and so is gameplay.
is it easy? yes...that doesnt mean its dumbed down, in fact, its more skill based than most fps out there, inclusidng your beloved polished turd of a game, killzone: shadow fall.
