Well, I only see a short campaign as a real problem if its all that the game offered
But it isn't as well as the campaign you have Spec Ops, and as well as those you have the most popular and addicting online game available on consoles.
Whats wrong with killstreaks and perks? they add a LOT of variety and customisation the the game
Don't like it but want to still play COD? Play a COD online that was made before COD4 like COD2
Want something newer? pick up a newer quality online FPS like bad company 2.

The developer is making it for one platform only and can truly utilise the gaming experience for that console.
