That says to me that the 360 version WILL NOT have additional subscription fees but the other consoles will.
My point is it can't be a subscription fee to download unlimited songs like the OP speculated.

It says only the PS3 and Wii versions are going to require a fee. That means that 360 users won't have to pay for a subscription.
If in fact it is a subscription to download unlimited songs then that would mean 360 users get unlimited free (save the Live Fee, which most of them pay anyway)songs to download. I just don't see that happening.

I actually hated the demo. I thought the controls were horrible and it really didn't impress me at all.
Graphically, it looked nice during cutscenes but during the game it didn't look as good it seemed.
The story seemed interesting but i had to force myself to get through the demo so that was a shame.
But hey, if you guys like it, more power to you. Enjoy the game.
My reason was the track record of the Playstation Franchise.
Having owned a PS1 and a PS2 i knew i wouldn't be disappointed.

All the people that care about BC on a PS3 already have one anyway. It's mostly the hardcore gamers that are heard on this issue and most of them have already purchased a PS3.
If there is no BC in any PS3 SKU in the future it will not affect sales at all. People buy PS3's to play PS3 games not PS2. I bought mine 1 month after launch and played one PS2 game on it. It was GOW2 and it looked so god awful on my 60" SXRD that i barely made it through.

It's a little weird that so many years into it's life cycle MS abandons the interface for a completely new look. It makes me wonder if they thought they made the right design. I think they did. I'm perfectly fine with the "Blades" interface.
It would be weird if in a year Sony completely gets rid of the XMB and incorporates a new User Interface. It's just baffling.

I haven't gotten to Chapter 10 yet, which is when the big freezing issue happens, but i'm glad they patched it before i got to it.
