While all the new features are good i think that they will be available with the free silver account and may not even be available in Australia at all (netflix and primetime?)... so what we are paying for is only to play online multiplayer. This thought is old and outdated. Xbox live needs to be free to compete with Sony and Nintendo. If MS want to attract the casual gamer they will not go with a console where you need to pay extra to play online.... hell, they even may think it's a cost savi...
It makes you wonder if we here in Australia should get excited over the E3 Dashboard news when we were not even getting what our mates in the USA are getting before. Almost every person i know are down on XBOX for not addressing the issues for Aus gamers (Video market place, inside XBOX, free themes and gamerpics and overblown price).
....0h and i still have not forgiven EA for not bringing RockBand to Aussie shores so who cares about Rockband 2?

The simple reason is that rock band arrived too late on the scene. I was hyped for rock band but after waiting more than a year for a game that was already out overseas is too much to take ! GH world tour was released world wide on close to the same date. Why can't rock band ? I find it hard to find a copy of rock band 1 and rock band 2 is nowhere in sight. When i asked EB they said rock band 1 was discontinued and rock band 2 has no release date !! NO CHOICE FOR AUSSIES ! Bad luck Rock Band...
