Really? This again, no we are not saying that we don't care, we are just saying if you want something done do it yourself. Who's stopping female developers from forming a team and developing a game catering to the female audience, no one, at least no one sane. Just my 2cents...
You're right about not seeing enough to make a final judgment, but the problem is the press is seriously overhyping this game with words as spectacular, incredible, mindblowing, etc...
Can you seriously say that this footage is anywhere close to spectacular? Every other game is spectacular this days according to press, but sadly that's a long way from truth.

I didn't see anything spectacular, it's a pretty cover shooter and not much else.
I don't remember anyone saying the game is revolutionary. That said the game was pretty awesome, at least to me.

For me Dead Space 3 is the best game in the franchise by far. Maybe because I never considered Dead Space games as survival horror, the games were tense as f..k, but never scary like Amnesia or Penumbra games. Yes it is and than some. I have't had this much fun playing singleplayer FPS in years.
They did not say anything concrete about Doom 4 maybe they will reveal some details but i doubt we will see any footage. I'm dying to see that game especially now that they have id tech 5 to run it.

If they add co-op i don't think playing as some random soldier would cut it. I want to play as Garrus or Grunt, or imagine the awesomness if you could play as Wrex now that would be badass.

That's true i would rather have a better optimized game than a system hog since i don't have a beast of a PC. Games can look great even when they have low requirements. One example in addition to games you already mentioned is Dead Space 2, i have a 5 year old PC that wasn't top of the line back then but even then i could run the game on max details with good frame rate.
I'm kinda glad Stephen Russell didn't end up in game, seriously who wrote this garbage. The official trailer was cringeworthy, but this is on a whole another level...
