Strangely enough I bought my PS2 because at the time I wanted a DVD player.
I'd say it was more of an added incentive at the time, since I was limited for space at university and I had at the time a very good PC.
TBH I don't see anyone selling that many HD DVD or Blu Ray drivers till a time when people actually see a need for them for most people DVD will give them all they need.

Actually you are wrong in some of your points
*ps3 has split ram and 360 has unified ram.unified is better
*ps3 has only 256 of ram
*ps3 has less memory than 360
Playstation 3 has the same ammount of RAM the Xbox does, it simply uses 256mb of the RSX and the 256 and the Main RAM.
And Unified RAM is not always a good thing.
Why don't people just except that COD4 is a good game and is available and runs well on both systems, splitting hairs over reviews like this is pointless.
Just buy the game for your system and enjoy.
If you are going to do a comparisson at least make sure the shots you are comparing are in the same location and not just completely random shots.
The Screenshot quality for both is poor, so its likely making things look at whole lot worse then they really are.

The game isn't going to do well on the PS3, even more so in Europe.
The game sadly has no chance of doing well, its taken them to long to get out on the PS3 especially when there are some real quality games coming out or are already out.
Even more so in Europe

I remember reading there interview for Warhawk and they didn't really mention anything that was truly wrong with the game yet they marked the game down.
I do like some of the articles they have in the magazine, but I laugh at some of the reviews as they are so self-conflicting.

I have never ever had a single problem with my PS3 controller and I know of no one else who has had any issue what so ever with the controller.

Comparing Video comparisons of 2 completely different game engines is stupid.
If it was the same gamer perhaps but this doesn't prove anything, and they you need to consider the quality of these video and the circumstances in how these videos where taken.
Such videos only incite fanboyism in the most die hard.
