Really shouldn't be the case in this day an age, we have internet, fast internet connections information released on one side of the planet and will be read on the other side of the planet in seconds.
There really isn't any excuse for segmentation people into regions, as this only leads to a lot of very annoyed people, and note that Europeans are supposed to be "very" important to Sony (given its a larger install base than America) but time and time they disappoint.
PlayTV is a extra device you need to purchase costs about (£80/€90/$140) which gives you access to DVBtv (or Digital TV) which is quite common now in most European counties.
This shouldn't be compared with the fact that the EU gets a pretty shoddy deal.
One example the article didn't cover was the fact it took 8 months to released Dual Shock 3 over here, not once have we had any explanation why it took that long to release (and it's not like they need to transla...
WOW that was just terrible.
I just hope that my PS3 60 Gig never encounters a problem I'd be lost without my BC compatibility.
Yeah well the only thing MS did was to announce that FFVII was going to also appear on the Xbox360 as well as the PS3.
Aside from that they had a lacklustre conference with no new IP'S, mostly ideas that have appeared in some form on other systems.
In All honesty E3 has been pretty disappointing, nothing really major was announced, just more of the same.
But they haven't released Super Mario CSI investigations Battle Brawl :O
There laughing all the way to the bank.
Perhaps Sony shouldn't have touted as much as they did if they didn't have any plans to release in in all regions or at least said so in there speech.
It's not going to sit well with Europeans as where already a little sick of the direction that the PSN store is headed.
You need to pay for the Play TV (£70/€90/$140) so its not really a fair comparison to the PSN Video store which really should have been launched in all regions.
Might be a reason to play the game again, only played through once.
PlayTV is a seperate product you need to purchase and is available in Europe first because Digital TV is quite common here.
While I can fully understand that there may be some localisation issues its quite sad that again and again European customers are left out.
So the EU is left out in the cold again, sigh :(
nice
Reminds me of a N64 controller.
Well you'll need to strip the game of all the in-game jokes and PS related mentions.
The biggest problem with this is that its going to be really difficult for MS (and developers) to pull off when you think of it.
Not all 360's have a Harddisk, and I can honestly say I've never seen the HD drives for sale in any of the computer stores, MS also have the monopoly of the drives that you can use, where is you can purchase just about any SATA II 2.5" drive and plop it into your PS3.
So does this mean that games could be potentially sold with the requ...

I get the feeling that Sony didn't let this just go, they must have something up there sleve.
The game isn't my cup of tea it looks like any other WII game. That said however the game will no doubt sell.
