Skyrim is using DX11 for PC, it will make a huge difference to consoles.
Basically PC Wins.
But the problem with PC it consumes a lot of energy, especially if you have custom built for Gaming.
BF3, ArmA 3, RO2, Skyrim, Crysis 2.
It makes the PC a better platform, and all of them supporting DX11.
It shouldn't compromise other things with this compatibility because is developed from the ground up.
