How do they know the PSN was hacked easily?
@Emerge
What about this guy?

How they know hacking is easy?
Agree with that guy. Can't believe how some people can blame Sony of this.
Hackers fault (actually called Crackers).
''This was incompetent and irresponsible. Why did they remain mum for so long??''
Now they know why....
People like Loner will keep submitting articles like this.
Please be 3rd Person View.
Why is this guy saying largest security breach on record when it is NOT the largest security breach on record? That happened to another company.
Why don't you go to the house of the Hacker that stole the info instead of Jack T. house?
''However, Sony has not provide any information about the new device, or how it will differ from older PS3 models.''
Should be interesting to know what will have.
''The company learned that customer data was stolen on Monday, only after an outside security firm conducted days of forensic analysis, Sony said.''
@Lindsey
Only Sony knows the answer of that, no one here from pseudo Analyst Experts and Software Engineers of N4G could answer that.
Why Sony Gamers and not Gamers in general.
I mean, not only Gamers or Sony are being hurt, also Developers.
That kind of people outside in the community, the better.
PS3 Hackers.
''or Sony for not doing a better job of preventing the security breach in the first place?''
Still don't justify why I should be mad against Sony about PSN, except about Communication, Sony could talk to the media about a possibility of someone stealing info before.
And about PSN, in that matter, PS3 Hackers are guilty 100%, Sony could have a better security before, but still, PS3 Hackers would take more time ...
''Pachter deserves credit for stating his opinion as it is well known that support for these malicious attacks are low and are also not in the interests of gamers. ''
Agree with everything there.
Failnonymous, and the people influenced by them don't care about the Gamers and Developers.
If they care about it, then this wouldn't be happening.
Indeed, the problem is bad, but Sony PlayStation (which is not the entire Sony Corporation) have the people and money to get out of there even if they aware this will take some time to fix.
And another problem, are the lawsuits.
Sony didn't put it.
The external intrusion did it.
The doom articles in N4G started even before PS3 was launched
Especially the American Journalism.
''The guy clearly knows the ins and outs of the PS3′s security methods, even more so than Sony perhaps. ''
Lol, lame article.
