PSN is already good, is just getting better.
I've heard the G25 is better than G27, I don't know what are the differences.
I won't buy that beast if I don't buy the Wheel. Probably a G25 or an Official Wheel coming for GT5.
I don't think with the controller feel good, the controller for arcade racing games and simulation for wheels.

I think Alan Wake could sold better if this have any multiplayer mode.
On PS3 which sold good and better than Xbox 360 or exclusives with Games of Single Player like GoW 3, Bayonneta (even if this was a bad copy sold better on PS3) Final Fantasy XIII, Heavy Rain and others Single Player Games.
Those are only Single Player, and sold very good on PS3.
Alan Wake only have Single Player, I think it could sold better on PS3.
