Variable refresh rate.
Basically the screens refresh rate (tries) to match the fps of the game, which reduces the perception of screen tearing. You need a supported console and display for this to function.
Unfortunately PS5 does not support VRR but XSX does.
However in this case PS5 doesnt need VRR (as much), but XSX seriously does.
I know Ubisoft didnt get the dev Kits until 4 months before release but surely the impact wouldnt be this bad?!
so you cant play the backwards compatibility version from an external hard drive if its Series X optimised.
This isnt shocking, can see how it can be annoying but not exactly a problem.

The screen tearing should not be that bad.
Also worth noting that both sold out, so if taken out of context tells a different story...
Great feature that i wasnt aware of, this should definitely be the norm (imo)
1. Preorder Hard copy
2. Preload digital copy via the xbox app ahead of arrival.
3. When hard copy arrives put the game in and start straight up without installing/downloading anything extra.
Very mixed reviews on Steam, need to see some updated gameplay before I even consider buying this.
Considering this game is still in Early access (beta) gives me some hope that itll improve.
Personally had no issues on my XSX (20 hours game time so far)
Hope theres some stability patches put in for the affected people.
I dont understand why ray tracing hasnt been added as an option on both consoles, I hope it gets added soon.

I feel like OP is trying to make a statement for the sake of it.
If this is true, its great to see a demo being made available, I miss the days of getting a demo for a game, especially in the old PS magazines.

Controller is incredible yes, but its not the best thing about the PS5.
