Agreed. These rumors are getting a bit out of hand.
Eh, can't say I was really a fan of their work anyway.
Those are some pretty solid titles to choose from!
Must say, Closure does look pretty awesome.
Maybe they'll bring on Dark Horse Comics to do something like they did for the PS3 version of ME2. Could be pretty cool.
It's definitely possible. Those guys are BioWare are pretty smart :)
I think it's really important that gamers understand the difference between "changing" and "clarifying".
As far as I can see, it doesn't look like BioWare will be changing the ending, but rather building upon it with additional content.
Interactive epilogue anyone?
I'll have to check it out.
No surprise there :)
Great write up! I can't wait to give this game a go myself.
Same here. Glad to see Ubisoft remastering it for those of us who missed out.
Another fantastic episode. Great job guys!
@Chuk5 - I agree, additional clarification would be nice, but only if that what BioWare has planned. I think most gamers would agree with me when I say that I don't want something shoehorned in that simply feels like a blatant attempt to please fans.
The team over at BioWare is made up of a smart group of guys. If everyone could have just remained patient and waited to see what they plan to do next via DLC or otherwise, we could have avoided this whole mess.
For sure. If BioWare wants to flesh out more of the story with addition DLC, then great. As long as the ridiculous outcries from angry fans aren't coercing them into doing so.
I don't want the artistic integrity of the game to be compromised just so that a few fans can be happy.
I totally agree. I'm sure many that are lodging complaints against BioWare haven't even played through the entire game for themselves.
For those that don't have fast internet, Microsoft could easily just sell you the content on small cards - just the like PS Vita. Sure, a solution the the PSPgo wouldn't work, but if Microsoft takes a few cues from what Sony is doing with their current handheld, they could help usher in a more efficient and cost-effective way to deliver games.
The article doesn't say NO physical media. It is speaking directly to the removal of the disc drive - BIG difference. There are other ways to deliver content beside DVDs and Blu-rays.
Sony is (in a way) doing it with the PlayStation Vita.
By incentivizing gamers to purchase the digital version at a slightly cheaper price - we could definitely see things head in this direction.
As a solution for those who don't have high speed internet, (just like the Vita) there could be a retail option as well, by using a small chip instead of a DVD.
I can't wait to see what Quantic Dream's next project is! I loved Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain - so unique and totally unlike anything else out there.
LOL. Absolutely ridiculous.
