PC/Playstation lifer. So no I did not get a X1. I did however get the game on PC. It's a very fun shooter but it seems it may get very stale soon. As so many have posted no one game can justify a new console purchase. Neither gears or halo got me to make the jump to the 360 and I doubt their is a game to make me pick up a x1.
Yeah it sucks that I chose to get it on PC and have to wait another month+. I preordered on Steam (since its not likely to hit the PS4 anytime soon) so no I'm not going to give in and get it on the PS3. I think I'm going to play Dark Souls tonite.

The DS speed run is the perfect analogy. Those of us who have played and still play DS (while waiting for the PC version of DS2....) know the countless hrs. put into the game.
For the 20.00 price tag, a 6-8 hr campaign is fine imo.
I may be one of the few but I enjoyed Knack.
The PC version of Dark Souls was best by far - when modded (I had the PS3 and PC versions). Since the likelihood of the game being dropped on the PS4 is slim, I pre-ordered the PC version as well. Hoping for Mod Support on DS2.

My mid range pc-660ti and FX8350 runs the game at 1080p max settings w/ 55-60 FPS on all maps save one (where I have got as low as 40 on some parts). PC Version is even solid without dual GPUs. All this is saying is that they need to patch the game for multiple GPUs
Yup PC is the way to go. Dark Souls is unmatched on it. I most likely will pre-order form Steam before the month is out.
Pretty sure they dropped the release date a few months back. September sounds about right.
Cant wait for this game.. I mean I'm playing titan fall (pc) and its an excellent game, but I really am waiting for this one.
Availability on 360 and PC will help keep it from being a system seller. I for one got it on PC.
That being said I just don't believe one game can justify a $500.00 system purchase especially when I just spent $400.00 on one just 3/4 months ago.

I've known this for quite a few yrs as the PS3 has a similar ability although I don't think you could go back to the games input with the press of the PS button - while the system was already on.
If I turn off my tv then the ps4 will turn off; and if I turn on my ps4 then it will in turn cut mytv on and switch to the PS4 input source. Samsung TV's have had this ability for 5/6 yrs I believe.
Still a good tip for those who did not know.
