sorry if Im being thick but I can't see how this can work on VAT registered businesses eg MS and Gameseek. Both examples would record VAT transactions on their balance sheets and so it wont affect their profits/losses.

VAT on input and output are shown on the balance sheet and not on the profit and loss account.

Since alot of retailers have intranets which is an internal internet connection.
Im guessing retailers with no outside internet connection will be given special "demo" boxes that don't require online checks or else they wont be able to play any games!?

The original price was actually higher but it went down to $499 after (insert list of spy agencies here) made donations to MS to make sure more people can buy the spy machine... I mean Xbox One. xD
