when I speak quality, the Hardware factor should kick into your head right away. As for software, we all know that they are both on even ground... I don't know about you, but personally I prefer a device that will last me a long time and not worry everyday about my system crashing on me after the warranty expires.

I highly dought that Sony will create a new format for the PS4 since the majority of video games these days barley take up even half the blu-ray space, not to mention the fact that most games being multi-platform needs too accommodate the limited 360 space and all. A new and larger format is not going to happened because the other consoles need to catch up to blu-ray first.
As you all may notice, Sony is ahead of their game... Maybe to much ahead and that in a way is good, but...
What a stupid question.... Like as if Sony will go back to a primitive DVD format after spending millions on the successful hi-def blu-ray disc.
besides, I'm pretty sure that blu-ray will be way cheaper to produce by the time the PS4 comes out, while dvd format will fade out like vhs.

Does it really matter about the 360 advertisments? I'm pretty sure that anyone who wants RE5 already did their research and know which system it's on!? and as for new customers, I'm confident that when they see the display of RE5 on store shelfs for the 360, they're most likely gonna see the PS3 version next to it as well.

I have to agree with omega4, when it comes to microsoft and halo, its nothing compared to what nintendo is doing with the mario series! I swear, if its about relying on a certin Game(mario!) all its life, it'll be Nintendo hands down!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, back in the days of the PS1, disc swapping was all good cause it meant that the game was usually to good and to big to fit on a single cd disc.
But folks, remember that, that technology was impressive ages ago! and honestly, now that we have evolved to Blu-ray, Disc swapping seems to be pretty primitive now.
Do you really want the hassle of swapping disc still 5 years from now?!?!
