Corporation have the ideas and technology way before anything is even show.
Example we know 8k tvs are coming by 2020 which will coincide with the PS5 launch meaning we know what teach minimum specs the ps5 will need by know what kind of hdmi capabilities are needed and blu ray teach etc etc.
Plus tge delay was already done and is why we are getting them by 2013.

Ok 4k tv are expensive because the ones that are on sale are 83" and is a technology for rich people.
Eveb 1080p83" or 100" are super expensive.
4k tvs wil be made in 32" and up and the price eventually will come down to price and I don't mind gaming bext gen ganes on my 1080p tv because it will also look amazing in it to until I decide to get a 8k tv

Well it's fair for low budget game's to use it but there is no excuse to see games like Silent Hill downpour using it, I'm glad konami is rethinking their moves and globalism their next gen Fox engine for any Kojima game, Pro evolution soccer and I belive the next gen silent hill and castlevania will also use it.
Some engines deserve to be used into fee games and konami is doing it right.

Uncharted or killzone 2 still look miles ahead than any ps2 games on a sd TV, yes it lose many effect and details and the resolution is not hd but I bet I will be happy playing 4k games on my 1080p tv because they still will look way better then any ps3 game plus the gameplay will be more advanced tech.. until I decide to jump over a 4ktv and they will eventually get at a reasonable price obviously.

Sony need to price drop their system after a year and even at $800 hardcore fans will get one from the start if the games are good..
The only way it start at $400 is if they start charging a $50 yearly fee to play online and I don't think that will happen ..
They could even sale it at $300 from the start if there is a online fee, they will get back that money after ...

I bet the disagrees are because I say I want the next socom to be like confrontation in term of online game modes and settings and most want socom 2 like settings..
But I love the way confrontation was set, 5 rounds mercenary 5rounds seal's was fair and the points also made it fun(like in soccer but soccer also have extra times and penalty) so I will not mind extra rounds .
I also loved how one life per round was the main mode and it was set by solid goba...
The gun gameplay, action, physics, graphics, AI, the driving.
The campaign single player, the open world, the fact that the main mission felt like a non open world and where unique and fun, well pasted.(it make me want Killzone 4 to be open world like this and why not TLOU2 and any other game that fits into it, fc3 proved that open world's can have linear quality Hollywood style of campaign into a open world game, specially KILLZONE3 will have fit perfectly into a open world)
