Hyperbole - pronounced(hye-PUR-bə-lee)
Hyperboles are exaggerations to create emphasis or effect. As a literary device, hyperbole is often used in poetry, and is frequently encountered in casual speech. An example of hyperbole is: "The bag weighed a ton".[2] Hyperbole helps to make the point that the bag was very heavy although it is not probable that it would actually weigh a ton.
"I'll sacrifice my first born to you Satan for a beta invite." ...
I agree with you Stan, Drop shotting is actually a skill and i am confused that they are trying to gimp it?!
I play on PS3 and to dive to prone while aiming, means clicking in the right analogue stick, while aiming with it and shooting accurately at the enemy. The whole point of being prone is to be a smaller target!
I guess this is what everyone wants their game to be like...Check link! =P
*URGH!!! stupid link is acting weird!*
Play the original two instead, i am annoyed that they put fallout 3 on the list and not Fallout 1 or 2! Better story, better gameplay(not FPS, but strategic) and the first game i played where you can play it however you like! =D
Definitely the best RPG i played last generation, Judgement Ring ftw! =D
Also on subject, you can do a similar list for movies/stories - Rocky(how many times can he beat the odds...5 or 6 movies later...), any Romance/Rom-Com movie(She can't find the right guy, he stumbles into her life, he's a jerk...some circumstances forces them to spend time together(a bet), she see's another side to him, they fall for each other...she finds out his nasty secret(the bet), they stop see...
This article is about every (J)RPG out there...you just named a whole bunch of Western developed RPG's
well said "belowradar" bubble!
All the titles being named as game changing...aren't! I loved "Heavy Rain", but it just brought back a dead genre "adventure" games, play "myst" or "riven" if you want a great adventure game...Plus i'm pretty sure they brought a game out before "Heavy Rain", called "Fahrenheit", which was an awesome game on the PS2.
Another title being called a game changing title "Mass Effect 2"...can anyone say "Mass ...
I disagree to your lack of humour! ;-)
So the PS3 uploads and uninstalls at the same time?
Exactly what i wanted to say! =P
It sounds like the end of the world the way he's carrying on...i have these things called friends that i talk to while i wait...or a computer that i can mess around on for an hour and finally there's a fantastic invention called a television, just watch some crap for that 30 or so mins!
Gotta love the Gen Y mentality(i want it right NOW!!!), how about you go back to 56k dial-up like i used to have and see how you go...i'm pretty su...
At first i didn't get it, but then my high school memories came flooding back! lol! =P
You guys do realise that Killzone 2 is meant to be set in the future, so Jet-packs and all that exist in that universe...also might i add, the main protagonist in KZ2 is a human, no silly powersuit or nano-machines increasing his strength ten-fold.
As for the realism side of things in games, it obviously can't be 100% real, otherwise the majority of FPS players would protest, because they can't jump side to side like retards firing from the hip...also nade spammers wo...
The weight of killzones weapons and armor is more realistic, compared to most other fps', that let you sprint around like a cheetah and don't promote burst firing for precision.
Just because you're a soldier, it doesn't mean an extra 20-30kilos worth of inventory won't affect you.
I like games that have realistic reloading mechanics, not this split second reload crap! I also like it when you don't know how many bullets you have left in your ma...
He wasn't saying 21year olds shouldn't live at home, because they have nothing to do. He was saying if you have a parent that is fkd in the head and giving you grief, then maybe you should start thinking of moving out.
the levelling up system is still the same, the only difference is that once you reach level 60/70 or whatever, you can't actually hit prestige until you've clocked the 24-hour mark and the 24-hours resets for next prestige level. So no, sitting 'idle' in a game and doing nothing will not level you up, you still have to play.
I don't think people who are all about levelling/prestige'ing up, will want to leave their player 'idle' cos why spend all that ti...
I get sick of people complaining about backwards-compatability and cross game chat, do you buy a car and expect more from the manufacturer once you've taken it home?
How about don't look a gift horse in the mouth and enjoy all the changes they've made and stop bitching ffs!
online is still free, nice try though!
JRPG's have been some of the best games i've ever played in my gaming life! From Lufia, breath of fire/s, Secret of Mana 1 & 2, Suikoden/s, Shadow Hearts: Covenant(one of my Faves and under-rated)dragon quest, etc etc.
I don't agree with peoples views that JRPG's suck, because they are linear...for some reason every game has to be free-roam now-a-days or it sucks. I don't mind free roam, but i prefer a solid story.
Mass Effect gets thrown around like it...
This is what i think of when i think of Apple owners...
