I have always been the type of gamer who is drawn more to the story than to gameplay. While if I start a game I must finish it, I still tend to favor those that I hear have great stories.
Too bad I sent my copy back to GameFly. Oh well.
I don't know about this game. It just seems a little too gimmicky.
Yea, because a new game that is flawed can get below an 8, that's fine. But no, not the third game in a PS3 exclusive franchise where each game has problems, that can't get below an 8.
Hey Nuka Cola here's a quote for ya, since you like them so well.
"a game that is awkwardly paced and disjointed"
Really sounds like there was a great variety of pacing doesn't it?
The game got an overall recommendation for people to, at least, try it out.
The story is about as predictable as they come. Oh look two bad guys fighting over power. I wonder if one of them will betray the other and become the uber bad guy.
Controls are much improved but they are still a bit floaty and lacking as compared to the other FPS titles out there.
You can get naturalization within the first 30 minutes of gameplay aka the first hour of the game if you account for all the cutscenes.
Maybe since you snipe you haven't run into the overabundance of people running around with the LMG hip firing whenever they see someone. Since most interactions play out in close quarters because there are only like 5 Guerilla Warfare maps, it will leave a lot of people frustrated.
Harsh critic.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is the must have game of 2011. Until Mortal Kombat comes out!
What about a dedicated zelda title?
That would absolutely be either number 1 or 2.
I agree that 3D gaming is doomed to fail. As it looks right now, the 3D movie craze is starting to plateau (still generating revenue but many movies are still flopping despite inflated prices), and I think it will take the whole idea of 3D with it. But I say that in regards to 3D games not on the 3DS.
I think Nintendo will keep shipping out 3DS games and most will just opt out with the slider.
I mean if you were going to buy these maps you most like already did (especially considering the slow down at 2:00) but it's still a solid offering.
Kinect needs someone who feels passionate about the tech and is a known face for Microsoft. While some of the other individuals like Cliffy B say they like Kinect you can tell they don't.
If Peter Molyneux can bridge the gap between casual and hardcore I think Microsoft should buy him a castle.
Skyrim is too high in my opinion.
Yes I just said that.
Will you only be satisfied if the game receives perfect scores?
Have you even played the game yet?
Well you stated your problem right there, you don't even own a PS3 and therefore have never played the first LittleBigPlanet.
Saying it repeats the problems of the first game should tip anyone who has played the first game off. But, like I said, you haven't played the first game, so imprecise movement and floaty controls that cause the player to frustratingly fall to their death a lot is a problem. Especially since it was a major complaint.
And by the...
More than a handful of times throughout the game you will end up miss timing your jump and falling to your death without realizing what you did wrong. It's purely a tactile feedback issue. It was a problem in the first game, a problem in the beta, and still a problem the second.
And furthermore, a perfect score is a game that blows the gamer out of the water; it means the game, for that reviewer, was perfect. Maybe when you play it, you will think it is perfect, but it...
The cake is a lie.
The author never said there was aim assist, just that there is little to no recoil.
Definitely high on my 3DS priority list.
