I'd love to find Pikmin 2 for inexpensive. I've seen it once and it was not cheap.

All the horse power in the world doesn't mean anything unless you have fun interesting software to sell to video game fans. Nintendo is A+ at that. Now look at the PS3 incredibly powerful but hard to develop for and the thing doesn't "move" software. What good is it? Microsoft after six years just recently seems to have figured out how to sell hardware that works for more than three months. It's garbage.

Animal Crossing was a release for hard core Nintendo fans. The critics complained but the game sold over three million copies and tens of thousands of hard core and casual Nintendo fans play it daily. The Wii is gonna be huge. Period. When people start to see big time triple A titles they will not be able to resist. Nintendo brought quite literally millions of people into the video game world in that the Wii was extremely successful.

Sorryy I think you're incorrect. There's too much of an installed base on the Wii. Nintendo must continue to support the Wii because people will still be willing to pay for content. ninety mllion people aren't just going to turn off their Wii's for good the day the Wii U comes out.

Lucky you. Back in the day I think the Director of this game actually apologized for the fetch quest at the end. What a great game engine everything seemed to chug along so perfectly. Majora's Mask is my favorite but that may change once I beat Skyward Sword.

I love what Miyamato stands for as part of Nintendo but he's a personal hero to me. Awesome guy, brilliant, witty always interesting. Just a wonderful person and there's absolutely no one like him.
Now here's the one million dollar question. How did Miyamato create a Chracter in the early eighties that still is relevant today? Loved by children and adults the world over?

Hacking a Wii to play legally imported games or watch dvd's is a whole other matter entirely and can actually extend the life or usefulness of an "aging" console.
