exactly, that really made the scenery come alive (so to speak) for me. That thing got me mad excited.
p.s. it's psycho, fool. unless you misspelled it intentionally. Intentional misspellings are so 90s.
I sent mine in and they got it back to me in like 3 days. dont run out the clock on the warranty, just get it over with, there's obviously something wrong. also, there is a lost password retrieval system for psn accounts, if that's the account you were talking about. ask sony.
This post is more suited to the forum, it's not really a blog, more of a question.
I agree, the game is a bit static looking. It's very much a showroom game. Whatever that means.
Thank god for Jimmy Fallon, that kind of exposure is worth as much as a 50 million dollar advertising campaign. Killzone 2 really was amazing visually, but what was shown in Killzone 3 is almost awe-inspiring. Those set pieces really are sci-fi heaven, it probably had our closet gaming brethren frothing at each and every orifice.
And people, let's all just appreciate how awesome Herman Hulst is. I know it's taboo to reference your own blogs, but I just want to submit ...
No. Two companies will not willingly cut their market in half for appearances, they're not retarded. Exclusive DLC content is the most anyone could hope for, and while Sony may not be giving EA money for it (even though that is possible) they are probably giving certain degrees of developmental support etc. that make DLC exclusives worth it. BUT, neither company, Microsoft nor Sony, could possibly muster up the kind of incentive large enough for developers like Activision or EA to commit ...
It is a mystery why no career mode was included in the PSP GT, so I understand your wariness... on the other hand, I'm confident the game will, despite this, have a career mode. Sony may have been concerned that the GT PSP version could potentially threaten the high demand or anticipation of GT5 if they included a career mode... that is, if they were smoking crack (that's the best explanation I can come up with, anyway). You're right, in any case, that if they can omit something a...
I'm interested in your point but i don't know economics well enough to understand how Apple having shovelware could lead to instability... if people buy apps and have enough bad experiences with them, they will eventually lose confidence in the app store leading to investors doing the same? Is that what you're saying?
And I bought it... so, you know, I guess I don't have the balls to stand behind my criticisms. I guess I love the game all the same.
Oh and regarding the empty games, it's only with the squad rush that I have that problem, Breakfast (lol what a ridiculous name), rush is always packed. Oh and I found that I can join other people's games, EXCEPT (I think) when they joined that game with others to begin with because I think that makes the squad private automatically...
Although the accent slip-ups did have the tendency to disrupt the mood of some of the more dramatic scenes, what I was referring to was the writing and acting. Lines were far too often phrased strangely, which can be irking for the simple fact that we are supposed to be listening to, for example, a typical American family. What you apparently thought I was criticizing was the lack of realism, when, more specifically, I was talking about believability, which has more to do with consistency... ...
When it comes to the script, even, I would have to say that it's just too obvious that a foreigner wrote it. This game was in development for four years and nobody at SCEA ever picked up the script and fucking read it? I mean... like when the kid (Sean) says "I don't want to play this game anymore" and he's talking about the swing, I'm like who in god's name let that one slip through during the script editing process? No child is stupid enough to consider the swi...
i don't need no damn scientist to tell me that
the popularity of hhg reflects poorly on us all.
the economy would crumble? The gaming industry may be big, but let's not lose our heads, dftstyles. It's a bad idea, but there's no need to dream up such cataclysmic consequences.
communist!
Playing it right now, actually.
That game really is phenomenal, I re-rented it after renting res5 (I returned it without finishing it with my roommate, we just weren't all the compelled to do so), and now we're blasting through it... at chapter nine now I think. The scares are great, the weapon upgrade system is great, the difficulty is great (especially in terms of money availability and the need to conserve ammo) and the graphics and atmosphere have over and over made me stop w...
sega's ad campaigns were always super antagonistic, same with pepsi's, and both are and were destined to remain second bananas (fourth banana in sega's case). I don't know if there's a relation, but mudslinging is always low, so I figure you have to be low (in whatever respect) to do it.
tomorrow's my 30th day as a member, so I'll be able to approve it tomorrow.
I have to say that despite my loyalty to the RE series, dead space is a scarier, smarter made game overall. The lighting is brilliant, there is a smart implementation of a of a faceless, silent hero, which does wonders for the atmosphere, and the soundtrack is great for revving you up.
There isn't ever any sense of panic due to a lack of supplies in RE5, whereas dead space is a true survival horror game. IMO it's a way better experience, although ironically, the length of the ga...
its a cool experience, but sony couldn't have expected every ps3 owner to become an instant second life-esque drone who tries to pick up virtual girls in a virtual world with very little to do other than that.
Don't agree with the comment about the controls. I don't like them, especially after playing bfbc2. Fact is that they shouldn't be going against the grain when it comes to something as fundamental as the controls. Fans of Killzone aren't about to stay away from the game if they implement CoD sensitivity, but I'll bet it's going to turn off some would be turncoats from the world of MoH, CoD or Battlefield if they feel uncomfortable when they first give KZ3 a shot. If GG...
