They might get a boost when GEars of War 2 comes out...but it will not sell more Xbox 360 consoles....MGS4, little big planet, and Final Fantasy 13 will sell more PS3 consoles...so will Killzone 2 and God of War 3...

You will never go back to PS3 games...next year will be God of War 3 and Final Fantasy 13..
But the system should have come with a larger harddrive...like a 320GB...or a 160 GB...
Show me one game that Microsoft has comming out in May or June that will be any PS3 game comming out in those months?
Even Haze will be a sleeper hit...It already has reviews around 9.0
MGS4 will avg 10.0 in reviews and will move hardware...You might even see 700K PS3 sold in the US during June....
Even though my PS3 had to be replaced...your awesome customer service handled it real well...and it was all free and painless.
hopefully next week I will get my new PS3...and be back to playing the new games...especially GTA4 and MGS4 next month.

You are just a hater...but you know that bluray is much better than DVD...and once microsoft signs on which they will if they want to have a good christmas 2008...you will be on board the bluray train.
Why would anybody with a new 1080p tv watch a a movie in DVD? If HD-DVD could make sub $100 players...the chinese can come strong and make sub $100 bluray players....
The price of HDTVs even 1080p ones are getting much lower. Sony just released a 1080p 40 inch for $1199....a HDTV price war is just now starting. Bluray players will drop below $250 by this christmas...there is a new samsung bluray player for $349 right now...the PS3 will drop to $299 by this christmas...bluray will take over. All these articles are from people who were burned by the downfall of HD-DVD. HD-DVD is dead....Downloading HD movies from online services will never kill DVDs or Blura...

The Xbox 360 would need a 50 GB bluray drive to run this game.

Looks like they are making this game great...hopefully it will come out by christmas!
It still not delayed as much as Alan Wake....Killzone 2 is aready up and running...its not vaporware...and it will come out in 2009....and it will be awesome. The developers just needed time...and money and they got both.....and its good that gears 2 comes out before killzone 2...because we all know Killzone 2 will look and hopefully play better than Gears 2.
Gears of War 2...if that game is delay outside of christmas....which it might...hint hint Killzone 2 in Feb 2009.....I am ok with that...as long as the game is good...and does not RROD my 360...
HD-DVD is dead...Hdi is dead...since it was part of HD-DVD. HDI could integrate with Bd-live if talks between microsoft and Blurary started up...but BD-Live will be better than HDi in about 1 year....HDi is wideopen and java based...unlike the closed microsoft HDi.

It is effecting a lot of early PS3 owners all are 60 GB models..It is proably a certain serial number or batch of PS3s. I am a avid PS3 owner...so this story is real. Hopefully a firmware update will fix it.

Come on Microsoft make the power supply internal like in the PS3...You are a tech company with lots of money. You should be able to design a good game console. Sony is still gonna beat you with a 45nm based PS3 by end of this year and it will always have bluray...any new Xbox without bluray will suck...unless they can get it down to $200 with a nice size hard drive...
Also long as there are not many issues with the game on the PS3...it will sell like wildfire...A lot of Xbox people say folks will not buy this game...but I disagree. There are people who are waiting for this game to come out just to get a PS3 to play this game. If it averages near a perfect score like GTA4...then it will be a good jewel in the PS3 crown...Socom Confrontation will get the rest of the PS2 users onto the PS3 trail....in september...Killzone 2 and God of War 3 will get the rest ...
Whoever says there are is on crack! What we need is world of warcraft on both the PS3 and the Xbox 360...and we need it to allow both PS3 and Xbox 360 users to play WOW with the PC users....the same thing with the agency...allow the PS3 users to play against the PC users.
Then we know the online will be stellar!
Its probably going to be some crazy amount of people online...maybe even an mini MMO..

The xbox 360 is far worst in hardware reliablity.
I fold@home 24 hours a day...the only thing that does not work on my system is GTA4...everything else is perfect.
The PS3 has less than 1 percent failure rate.
The GTA4 issues is still unknown if it is a hardware issue or a software issue.
The PS3 has only been out for a year and 2 months in Europe...and the PS3 has almost sold as many units total and the Xbox 360 has in over 2 years.
Microsoft is the one that is getting squeezed out in Europe...
