Basically its gone from an RRP of $405 in the uk down to $270 at blockbuster. Thats a great price drop for us.
We still get ripped off RRP here though. You guys pay $299RRP. We have to pay a tad over $400 for the same product.
As a fan of the game, i can honestly say that i hated 6. It was the game that made me feel like that^ about Dynasty Warriors.
I must say though that Dynasty Warriors 7 looks far much better than 6. They've basically got rid of everything that was bad in DW6 and made it better than DW5. Its a win for the hardcore fans like me and a win for casuals who will play this. Trust me, it looks like a huge jump from DW6 and i can tell this is going to be the best Dynasty Warriors ...
I remember when the PS3 launched at £425 over here. I was so tempted to buy an xbox for £279 but i didn't because the PS3 was more appealing to me (Basically its better imo :P).
I thought i'd have to wait ages to get a PS3 but now its £160-£190 i'm sold! Getting one tomorrow!

PS3 is clearly a better deal, especially with all the games for it this year.
Should have got a Ps3, it was £196 on Amazon. PSN is free so you'd save £40 on xbox live, plus you'd get to play high quality exclusive games the xbox doesn't have.
I don't see Sony or Microsoft bringing out any consoles before 2013. Nintendo maybe.
Its been known for a while that devs and gamers are happy with the consoles at the moment. We've known for a long time that this generation was going to be a long one. If Microsoft didn't release the xbox 360 in 2005 then i'm sure Sony would have waited till 2007 to release the PS3.
PS4 won't be announced until at least 2013 and it'll probs be out Holiday 2014.
Well, Unless Microsoft get greedy again and try and bring out a new Xbox early 2013 then Sony might have to counter it and compromise on some features to get the PS4 out early.
I'm hoping for both companies to bring out their consoles in 2014, that way Sony will perform better from the start.

Agreed, Koei haven't released a good game this gen. It looks like Dynasty Warriors 7 is going to change all that though.

They still have 4t/rare weapons for each character in this game. You can get them by playing the characters special stage in Conquest Mode.
So the rare weapons/weapon seals are stil there.

Maybe if you picked up 7 and played it you'd realise it's a much improved game over 6. Don't be so ignorant and play a game/research it before bashing it.

Activision are too greedy to make it a 360 Exclusive. PS3 sales are just slightly less than 360 sales. I'm surprised about that, didn't think black ops would keep selling on ps3 but it is... sad really.
Plus COD is being made for Sony NGP now so the core games will remain Multi Platform with timed DLC for 360.
Honestly, i wish Activision would just stop selling the game, or take 2 years off to work on it and make it awesome. But thats not going to hap...
Dynasty Warriors 2,3,4 & 5 were really good games in the Dynasty Warriors series. 6 was terrible, it had some great new features but they were poorly implemented and made 6 the worst in the series. I felt that the developers had to either stop milking the series and expecting hardcore fans to buy it or improve it considerably.

Capcom said they would re release Monster Hunter Portable 3rd for NGP as a launch title and then start development on a new Monster Hunter Portable title for NGP that would come out 2012 or sometime after.
Just wait till the 3DS launch. I won't be buying one but i can bet that thousands will. Thats when Nintendo will start gaining ground again.

Because Microsoft stated that they had sold OVER 50m consoles in december. The exact number as of 31/12/10 (UK date) is 50.9m
The PS3 has sold 47.9 as of then, Xbox 360 50.9
That is where the 3m number is coming from. It's a fact that the gap is 3m because Sony and Microsofts fiscal report stated those 2 numbers. I can see that gap getting smaller though by the end of the year and the PS3 overtaking by 2012.
