One of the most underrated games of the last generation. It came out on the same day as Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption. I picked up all three. Split/Second was and still is a gem.
Personally, I love the game. The humor is spot on, the gameplay is fun and the mashups between franchises makes the game worth the price of admission.
New Vegas was a letdown, but Fallout 3 was a gaming masterpiece. Was it frustrating at times? Yes. But it was memorable and 60 hours well spent.
I 100% agree. That's why I felt I should write this. I'm surprised more horror communities aren't pushing this game more.
Currently around $193,000 with 20 days to go.
I'd agree with that statement. I hardly used the keyboard, but it was a fun inclusion to the series.
Going back to the basics was a good idea though.
I agree! This game is really underrated. It brought some much needed innovation to the zombie genre.
It was enough to get me to check out some of the other games in the franchise. I really hope that Platinum can make a sequel. There is so much potential for an even better game.
Platinum is a fantastic developer. Their games are so unique.
I only say Reboot for Jet Force Gemini because the game came out in 1999. Unless many people remember all the story elements from the game or have played through the JFG on Rare Replay, players may be lost unless there is a long recap.
A PD reboot could kind of be like Deus Ex if it kept the first person look. Kameo and PDZ were two of the five games I purchased at launch. Needless to say, I didn't enjoy it. I spent most of my PDZ playtime on multiplayer and couldn't ...
That's actually why I went with Jet Force Gemini over Perfect Dark. There aren't that many Third-Person Shooters out there. TPS games are a rarity now and it would be great to see them gain some more popularity.
Tenchu and Crimson Skies were both great games. I'd be down for sequels.
The concept for Kameo 2 was awesome. Sad to see it get cancelled the way it did. One of the reasons I chose the games I did was because of Rare Replay.
I hadn't played many of the games in the collection and I would love to see modern takes on those games.
The fact that Kameo 2 was scrapped saddens me to no end. It may be on my favorite Rare games list. I purchased it on launch day and it was so worth it.
One of the few games I remember that used the touchpad was Infamous: Second Son. It was gimmicky, but I liked the game a lot.
Alan Wake is my favorite Xbox 360 game published by Microsoft. It was excellent. I don't know that much about Quantum Break (my own choosing) because I want to be surprised. Remedy constantly impresses me though.
I'm kind of upset that ReCore won't be at the show, but more Scalebound will be good.
I'd be down for Too Human. I wasn't a huge fan of the game when it launched, but I picked up a used copy for $4 last year and actually enjoyed it for what it was.
It sold about 3.5 million after as of recently (five years after launch.) The game had the unfortunate situation of being released on the same day as Red Dead Redemption. Plus, there was literally no advertising on TV for the game. You kind of had to know that it was coming out.
While people did buy it at launch, most people played it when the game was bundled with an Xbox 360 at one point and through word of mouth. It could've been so much bigger and that's one of th...
I haven't played yet (not a PC gamer and I didn't have PS+ that month)
Hoping to pick it up when the game launches on the Xbox One. I've heard so many great things. Looks amazing.
