So do we have to wait for another entire fucking year to get this game? REALLY? I'm starting to think Sony should have waited until late 2014 to release PS4. Right now there is nothing interesting there for me at least.
I played the beta and let's be honest, it was fairly easy. I'm not a Dark souls pro-player by any means and I beat first miniboss on first try alone with the warrior. I don't know if it was intended or not, but the fact is that for me and many more players the beta wasn't really challenging.
How can you say that? They haven't shown ANYTHING about DD apart from some random monster slaying.
I heard that part of the story and/or action of this game happens in New York 2094 AD. Could it be an spiritual succesor of Eternal Darkness from the Gamecube?

Wow she seems to deal a good ton of damage but also seems uber fragile. Two good combos and she is down. I like that :D
Agreed, is a very simple and effective way of keeping co-op at minimal acceptable levels regarding skill.

If only I could know how the online game would perform using an imported US version on a EU console... :(
I'm thinking on importing then buying the digital european version if the online play with the imported version is laggy. Just the thought of maybe having to wait 2 or more months to play this is depressing.
For me Demon Souls was harder while Dark Souls was more epic.

Because this is a game of the 9+ realm. And people who don't want to see that, are simply fooling themselves. It's the Ocarina of Time of this generation. How can you give a game that excels at every aspect an 8? I mean:
- One of the best (if not the best) graphics of current gen consoles.
- Awesome and deep story.
- Excellent character development.
- Superb audio. Professional voice performance.
- Ambience that totally immerses you in the game...
Useless? Why so?
