I'm very optimistic w VR.
After trying an Oculus kit almost a year ago, I've been drooling over my wallet waiting for the Oculus/PSVS to hit the shelves.
For PlayStation, Dreams, Gran Turismo and Ace Combat already sold it to me.
I rather use my high-end home theater for audio. So, no embedded headphones r actually a plus for me.
:)
Nope. The unit is wired.
Well said.
@Theo
I believe u r too young to understand (no pun intended).
Gamers from the 8-bit era will easily disagree w u. Even gamers who got to experience the Dreamcast as their first Sega system can name a long list of well know games that r totally worth looking at.
Sega and it's library is by no means a niche thing.
In fact, u may not know that some Sega games where so well received and executed that became the standard for ...
"Now, when you roll over all the random bits of furniture and societal detritus in the world to create a materialistic sphere of stuff, the game connects to Amazon’s database and automatically purchases those items for you. Brilliant!"
Lol!
I don't see it happening.
But if it happens, PlayStation brand hype will skyrocket to new levels... Imagine something like the announcement of Kojima working on a PSVR game. That alone can sell more PSVR than pancakes for breakfast.
Can't agree.
If item is listed as "new" then customer is entitled to receive a brand new item.
If the item is listed as "used" then u clearly know what u r getting.
I can't avoid feeling just like u.
New players use to like KH sort of games, but I never got to swallow them. If I want action on my RPG, I play Dark Souls, not KH.
For now I feel like I should place all my hype on the "safe box" and continue playing other games meanwhile.
Hoping for the best but getting ready for the worst.
Gran Turismo?
As much as I love racer-sim games, mi brain misfired trying to picture the movie plot.
...I can't still picture it. Lol.
Wow! I guess he really want to cut ties w anything "metal gear". True game is published by Konami, but MG:V is still his game... So, why not taking the awards himself?
"I played both and witcher 3 is hands down the better game to me, from every single measurable category."
Oh, boy...
Gameplay mechanics, visual design, combat, replay factor, overall presentation... Just to name a few.
Bloodborne can make u sweat adrenaline. So, just from the experience factor is hard to say the game is as bad as u claim.
I think u just need to "ged gud" and stay alive longer if u want to ...
I totally feel u. Both games r great, but very different one from the other. I'm still playing both, mainly BB when my friends r online and TW3 when alone.
For GOTY? I don't know, is hard for me to pick one from those two. I'll call it on BB maybe cause overall gameplay mechanic are polished to perfection. Ur character does feel like an extension of you. Anyway, as I said, TW3 is a strong contender and is hard for me to pick just one.
Game is absolutely playable as it is right now.
I won't blame u if u r busy w another game, but if u like the genre, u r missing a lot of fun.
:)
For a game that big is really hard to find and kill all be bugs before release. What really matter is studio fixing the issues so game can be played the way is intended.
So, for now just hope developer takes quick action into this.
I haven't played F4 yet. I just can't put down the controller w TW3.
I did played previous Fallout games but they never got into me.
The Witcher is so full of lore and content, so many to explore and do. True some missions are repetitive, but game has so many original content on its own to keep it fresh all the way to the ending credits.
Also... I think developer is serious about their support to their products. Something that makes m...
Bah! Studio has a good rep of making hard dlc for souls games, so I only expect it to be hard enough to make u realize u need to re-learn what u thought u already knew, but u didn't.
Yay!
Even Google Cardboard can get u disoriented if u r standing... So, sitting seems logic for a full immersing experience.
That, unless u want the extra reality hitting walls, tipping w wires, fumbing ur tv and worse, braking ur moms expensive china. Haha! My mom was like a ninja trowing her flip flops at pin point precision. I don't want to try my wife... I rather play sit.
So far, The Watcher or Bloodborne for me. I'm happy w any of them as game of the year.
@Lukejrl
The word u r missing is "grinding".
FF7 requiere grinding to find materia skills (yellow materia skills) and to level up ur materias.
Dungeon located enemies don't provide it all. U can easily farm inside the crater once u get there, but once there, u can't return to the over world.
I imagine something like the world map of FF12, w detailed environments and normal size enemies wandering around. But ...
