As a fan I hope the best for Dark Soul 2, I hope we are all wrong about the negative hype flowing on the networks. I really want to play and enjoy the game, but I am not going to surrender my hard earned money to a bad game, even if that game is a Souls game. Let's wait and see....

I want to know about gameplay, not about engine changes, photo realism and all this stuff. those things are subject to change when game enters into a more complete development status. but gameplay... that is something hard to change once you begin the project. so, give me gameplay. that's all I wanna know.

that video tech demo is amazing. now I wonder... when they talk about pushing consoles @100%, they mean the end product will look anywhere close to this? if the answer is NO, then they are trolling. and no, in my opinion, it doesn't matter. :)
dark souls is not exactly a beauty queen... yet, the game is impressively addictive and entertaining.
crisys 2 is a visually attractive game, but the gameplay is borring.
gameplay is not equal to graphics. some games can achieve both, but if I have to choose, gameplay is far more important.

oh, oh torchid... u had it coming. I've played the game, a few minutes of beauty polingons in a screen doesn't make a game. go back to uncharted or halo, u may learn something abaut beautiful poligons from the very beginning, to the very end. not trying to troll you bro, just my opinion.
I totally agree with Shawn. there may be changes, subtle changes. but any mayor overhaul and they will destroy the game. my hype-o-metter skyrocketed when I saw the trailer on the vga's. I just hope not to be desapointed by this one, cause I really want to play it.
I have to agree with league. demons was way more challenging when compared to dark. almost to the point where the game is frustrating and discouraging. Beyond does not uses cg, only in game graphics. Same as Heavy Rain. Now that you know that fact, go to youtube and watch the trailer. Remove your computer keyboard from the desk... you may drool all over it.
After watching Ground Zeroes trailer a few weeks ago I can say this is totally expected. Fox Engine is like f*cking Gandalf for this console generation... long load time between chapters on mg4 was due to storage limitations (small HDD) on 1st gen ps3. but the whole game is delivered with uncompressed textures, mapping and audio. something still to this day, impossible to achive on others game systems.

I agree with you. after what happens to ff13 I fear for any non exclusive mayor title going multiplatform. I don't mind the game going multi, come on... everybody should...
I am an old Tomb Raider fan, but the more i know about this game the less i care. No longer a day one purchase. This game is really shaping like an Uncharted wanna-be... Not good. If i wanna play Uncharted i just load Uncharted into my system, no need to spend money on something that i already have. Make it unique or collect dust in the store shelves. :/
