I hope there are lots of wild protestors that disrupt their BS just like they disrupted my fun for a long time :|.
Yeah that sucks.
I just had a flashback to one of the Max Payne games, it was auto adjusting the skill level and I played so well they'd know everything and I'd have to jump through doors in crazy ways in slomo to avoid an instant death. It was not too annoying though compared to other games.
2015, sigh.
I will wait and see what happens with the Destiny release, if they treat customers right and the game is worth it I'll buy it. If not I'll kick that moon-ball into space.
Yeah, it showed their incompetence that they couldn't manage doing what online games have done for years, letting you easily play together with your friends.
I guess they don't have any friends though after what they've done ;) so they didn't realize how important it is.
In my long (and painful) experience with bf4 it's true that there is BARELY any communication, not even the fabled "screaming kids" are heard. Sometimes if you ask if anyone has a mic you'll find someone worth adding as a friend.
It's pathetic but not surprising (if it's true) that nobody can join your squad once you're in a game and you can't switch squads, sometimes with the horrible team 'balancing' 1 friend helping isn't enoug...
I assume they'll do the hardest difficulty right, but some games do it wrong. The worst offenders are ones where the enemy health is absurdly high which makes it an unrealistic chore to kill them, I don't mind them doing high damage to me though. (like one of the Bioshocks and Oblivion depending on sliders/difficulty).
A good wife would join in :). The human male and female need to be reasonable, never let one control the other unless you're into that.
Time will tell. I'm avoiding any game that EA is involved with until it proves itself over time with lag/bug fixes etc.
Looks like I have nothing to worry about.
I hope I can get VR soon so I can chop some things up.
Too bad the count wasn't in there.
Nothing against kinect/motion-controls but the major problem in my view is that they didn't advertise it properly and show people how amazing it is (not that it is/isn't). It seems like they just said "You're going to get it whether you want it or not" instead of "look at the cool things you can do in these new games that support it."
Maybe it was just my experience since I was busy gaming and not being very social, but I did watch TV and didn&...
Yeah, and let them experience it by getting demo units out to stores in the most populated areas (at first). Show them why they should want it and they'll spread the word.
It might have something to do with the Morpheus, as in you can use it for everything.
I've watched some streams and read reviews, my quick review is that it's a game that's lessened by wasted potential and lack of imagination.
"Twitch viewers can trigger sound effects..."
An anemic variety of them, more wasted potential.
Thanks, it's nice to know that they're out there. I'll pick one up after I get VR and a worthy game.
edit > with an extended warranty because a lot of people have problems with some of them.
It all sounded good until I watched the trailer and heard the annoying voice actor. It would be nice in a survival horror game to actually want to make them survive.
It will happen, but only when a great headset is combined with great games.
@ramiuk1
Yeah there are a lot of 'special' parents out there.
In my experience in bf4 on PS4 almost nobody uses the mic, more often I'll hear annoying background sounds of a tv echoing. I rarely hear a kid talking, one time I was lonely and asked if anyone had a mic and a little kid wanted me to go sniping with him so I did. It was hilarious he only killed 2 but somehow died 8 times. In bf3 a little kid actually helped my lame team win a ctf round...
Don't they release everything early/unfinished?
