Hmmm, I'd be interested to know what your idea of 'original' is. Even if you don't like Halo's aesthetic-which you are, of course, entitled not to do -there aren't many other games like it.
I suggest that to avoid vomit, you might try a non-multi platform website to avoid the offensive sight of a multinational corporation promoting it's tent pole product, or maybe just click the n4g filter to your gaming platform of preference.
Now that this story has an illegal pirating angle to it, there is a greater likelihood of the mainstream media picking up on the existence of Halo Reach. Getting the title name out to present purchasing grandmas via a bit of tabloid journalism can only be good for Microsoft.
The tragedy is, the rest of the world assume all of us gamers are as badly socialised as this, and just believe the stereotypical image that the media brands us with.
Anyway, must go - I have to go back down into the basement for a 60 hour gaming session.
Mom! I'm out of snacks again!
Strong sound design is really important for shocks, and Silent Hill certainly knew how to use silence effectively!
I also agree with Eternal Darkness on the Cube - anyone else remember the bath scene?
Quite right. Too many rats in Halo 2 and 3.
That is what you meant, isn't it?
